What an embarrasment to his constituency and Congress.

If past history proves true he will probably get re-elected. After all Barry got elected after a jail term.

I hope he does fight it. I don't condone what he MIGHT have been attempting to accomplish by his actions, but the fact remains that for the exact actions he took, no crime was technically committed. They have absolutely nothing concrete on him whatsoever. On one hand, I think it would be a good idea for him to step aside so as to move on beyond the controversy. However, at the same time, no one has anything with which they could force him to resign against his wishes. For that reason I think he should fight it because he's being railroaded.

Typical DC politics flip flop, this guy needs to be fired and not able to keep his 200k a year retirement from the Senate, as a public official he held to a high standard and he failed us and now he should have a high punishment.

This guy can't make up his mind. I'm guilty i did do those things, oh wait no, no I didn't. I'm resigning as Senator, oh wait I changed my mind....................agian.

The really sad part is clowns like this run our country and less than a handful ever get caught. Republican or Democrat it doesn't matter, their either playing footsie in a bathroom stall, driving off a bridge and killing a woman passenger or they got a crap load of money stashed in the freezer. And the American people just keep voting their sorry butts in........................................It makes me want to hurl................

I'm getting impatient for him to leave the Senate, tapping my foot. Er . . . never mind.
